Hi I was wondering if any one knows how you would clean wedding (or event) chair covers? Question: I think that they are laundered but is this at a laundret or are they specially cleaned - If anyone could help me I would be very greatful. Thanks again Hi thanks for your answers so far - do any of you have any experience of washing these or anything along the same lines (eg delicates/wedding items etc) - also say if I had 200 chair covers that required washing - does any one know how much it would cost roughly? All answers appreciated - thanks for the help so far :) Answer: take them to a professional. There is more than just the fabric type involved. The stitching may cause it to buckle and pucker in the wash. definitely don't dry them in a dryer! |

Does anyone know a good history book that covers a specific historical event in Western Civilization? Question: I need to write a book report soon and I was just wondering if anyone knew a good short (200 pages, shorter is fine, though would like to not have it go over 300 pages) history book that covers a specific even in the western civilization history( such as the French Revolution, Napoleon era, World War I). Thank you so much in advance and I am open to any suggestions. Answer: The Princes in The Tower by Alison Weir. It clocks in at 258 pages but it's a good read. From a review: "Despite five centuries of investigation by historians, the sinister deaths of the boy king Edward V and his younger brother Richard, Duke of York, remain two of the most fascinating murder mysteries in English history. Did Richard III really kill "the Princes in the Tower," as is commonly believed, or was the murderer someone else entirely? Carefully examining every shred of contemporary evidence as well as dozens of modern accounts, English historian Alison Weir reconstructs the entire chain of events leading to the double murder. We are witnesses to the rivalry, ambition, intrigue, and struggle for power that culminated in the imprisonment of the princes and the hushed-up murders that secured Richard's claim to the throne as Richard III. A masterpiece of historical research and a riveting story of conspiracy and deception..." |

New car in December, car seat covers,do they allow for airbag inflation in the event of an accident? Question: I meant car seat covers bought in shops to keep the original seats clean, thanks for any help. Answer: A lot are not designed for them. The more expensive ones will be more likely to have the design, but carefully check the packaging first before buying. I would imagine the air bag is not going to work correctly and possibly cause you an injury should the unfortunate happen. |

Does paypal and ebay's buyer protection cover event tickets if they aren't mailed or received in time? Question: Does paypal and ebay's buyer protection cover the purchase of event tickets if they aren't mailed or received in time? Answer: Are you the buyer or the seller? The seller should have mailed them within the time he/she agreed. That will show on the listing under shipping. The seller should have a tracking number to prove they mailed them and where the package is with the shipping service. If the tickets did not arrive within a reasonable period of time, the buyer should contact the seller and request a refund. If the seller will not refund the money, the buyer can file a dispute with eBay...not PayPal. eBay will mediate, and if an agreement is not reached between the two parties, the buyer can escalate the claim. At that time eBay will determine if a refund is in order. The tickets will have to be shipped back to the seller with a tracking number. Once the return has been received by the seller, the buyer will get a refund. I wish you luck with this. |

What's the best wording for a nonreligious wedding program that covers the events in the reception as well? Question: I am making the wedding programs for my wedding. However, based on my research wedding programs are entirely used for the ceremony and I have only found programs detailing the events in the ceremony. But my fiancée and I are not particularly religious, and will have a basic non-denominational Christian ceremony. We would like to cover all the events taking place on our wedding day (the ceremony site is the same as the reception site) to include the events in the reception. We find that this will better help guide our guest as to what will be taking place throughout the evening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I guess some of you can't read. The ceremony is a religious one, As I mentioned it's simply a nondenominational (I was raised catholic and he protestant) and are doing a simple basic ceremony - not over the top fanatic. However, we want to include in the wedding program, besides the obvious ceremony, the reception. For those that answered honestly and were helpfull, I thank you. Answer: People focus too much on tradition and how things are "supposed" to be. It's YOUR wedding!!! Do it however you choose. Some members of my family were disappointed with my choices and I said "oh well". I am paying for my wedding. I am doing it my way. (I am also including reception events in my programs.) |
