Ive got envelope with 2 1st issue stamps from the kennedy space cntr from 1975.Are they worth anything? Question: I've got an envelope with 2 first issue stamps from the kennedy space center. The envelope is post marked july 15, 1975. It is a 1st issue envelope with attached stamps for the very first apollo space shuttle. It is in excellent condition. The envelope is not a mailing envelope. It has a huge picture of the space shuttle, and was strictly used to distribute the stamps . Can anybody tell if they think this worth anything? Answer: Probably worth only a nominal amount--a few dollars. This item was produced for the collector's market. That means that, although it is nice to have as a souvenir, it is not itself a scarce collectible and would appeal to a narrow slice of philatelic and space exploration enthusiasts. |

What happens when you no longer have space in your passport for stamps, visas, etc...? Question: I have a passport from the United States and I wonder what the procedures are when you run out of space in your passport for stamps. Does the government issue a new one? Do different governments handle this situation differently? Answer: You would have to send in your passport to add in more empty pages. I believe it is free. |

How do I find the prices for space stamps of the world? Question: My friend has these stamps that all deal with outer space and exploration. Some of them have dates on them and others I just don't know. Some have been used and others haven't and then there are some that look a little fragile. Their are 25 in all and they are from all over the world. Several are from Ceskoslovensko, there's one from Tanzania, and one that says Viet Nam Dan Chu Cong Hoa. The rest I don't know because they aren't in my language, which is English. I really want to know if they are worth anything and how much they are worth. What's the best way to sell my Stamp Collection of US Sheet Stamps? Question: I have about 200 sheets of stamps from the 40s through the 60s. Is there a way of selling the collection all at once and getting good value or should I just try to sell them off one by one. There are a few that are somewhat more valuable such as some early space stamps a series of flag stamps I've looked on ebay but people who sell similar stamps don't seem to get any bids. Answer: These stamps mostly do not sell well on eBay or elsewhere. In fact, most of them are best used as postage. But not quite all - a few may be worth a premium over the postage value. Mystic Stamp Company is a good place to start. Or get a copy of Linn's Weekly Stamp News, and look through the "Wanted to Buy" ads. I still have space in my passport for stamps - I have half pages scattered throughout my passport that are free - but I do not have any more full pages that are completely empty. Answer: I measured the size of the stamp of the Argentinean customs in my passport and each stamp measures 1.97 x 1.19 inches are 3 stamps one of entrance one saying that is a tourist visa with validity for 90 days, and other with the exit stamp the space total is of +/- 2,5 x 1,97 inches. |

I watched it when I was a child. the plot is the following. some children collecting stamps somehow they got into space by one of those old small planes. The ending is that one of those friends finally stays in space and the stamps covers all his body while the other return back home. Thus, i remember one of those kids being disable. Pleaaaaaaase help me find the name of this movie. Two years ago I came across to the writer, cause apparently that was first a novel and then made into a film.I might be wrong. What happens when traveling and there is no more space in your passport? They glue it on, and it cannot be removed. |

Can you put postage stamps on the backside of a package? Question: I know it is legal to send packages with regular letter stamps as long as it is 13 ounces or less. What I don't know is if I could use the space on the opposite side of where the addresses are written for more stamps.
